What is Five-Step Abundance?

07.26.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

There are many wonderful things in this world. There are many ways to think. There are many ways to plan. There are many ways to exercise. There are many ways to eat for health. And there are many ways to improve yourself.

Sometimes … too many.

While there are probably as many possible ways to go about living an abundant life as there are people who would love to have an abundant life, many of these methods are complex, time-consuming, expensive, and troublesome. In addition, how do you choose what works the best?

::: FIVE STEPS

Five Step Abundance is a compact and powerful approach to answering these questions, and providing solutions which are easy-to-understand, quick-acting, and inexpensive. In addition, they fit together so that the total result is greater than the five simple parts.

Here you will find five paths to abundance, and one or two simple systems for each path:

  1. How to VISUALIZE and use the true power of the Law of Attraction to bring you what you want.
  2. How to use a logical method to TARGET what you want, making a plan that gets you there, and enhancing your time, energy, and money power along the way.
  3. How to TUNE your body using the 3 Minute Gym for fast conditioning, to give you vibrant energy every day.
  4. How to FUEL your body using the unique Vegistentialist system to avoid early death from common illnesses, to live longer, and to feel really, really good.
  5. How to FREE your mind from old hurts, old angers, and old disappointments; and to free your body from old emotional upsets, which often also clears physical ailments.

::: OUR PROMISE TO YOU

The Five Step Abundance method promises you this:

* A complete approach to living a life of abundance.

* Simplicity, speed, and effectiveness in every part.

* The clarity of covering all facets of life by focusing on five areas.

* Inexpensive, fast-working, powerful solutions to feeling good and living well.

* An answer to the question: “How can a person live a joyful life of abundance?“

Thank you for visiting. We’re glad you’ve come to see what Five Step Abundance can do to totally transform your life for the better. It’s a lot of fun, it works very well, and it feels really, really good.

How to Wake Up in the Morning

06.30.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

[reprinted with permission from http://beinghappytoday.com]

waking up in the morningWeed, California, November 16, 2010: Last night I was reading “Use Your Brain for a Change: by Richard Bandler, and he was describing how people motivate themselves to do things … such as how we wake up in the morning.

In the book, one fellow described using anxiety (how he’d be late, etc) to get himself up, but then this woman described how she thought about the pleasant things she would be doing. And when there were no pleasant things she liked doing, she thought about how pleasant it would be to have them *done*. And so …    [Read more…]

What is Vegistentialism?

06.12.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

‘Vegistentialism’ is a word, coined in a light-hearted manner, to describe a pleasant and economical way of eating that will allow you to live a long life, and statistically you should remain free of the diseases which kill most people in the western world.

(These killers are heart disease, cancer, stroke, and immune disorders including diabetes.)

Specifically, the simple method of ‘vegistentialism’ will give you a way of daily eating which will provide you with high energy, tasty and enjoyable meals, a feeling of lightness, and you will have radically altered the odds that you will live far longer. You will feel good.

A ‘vegistentialist’ is a person who has discovered ‘the essential truth about humans and vegetables.’ This approach answers the puzzle of: “What should we eat?”

Main Entry: human
Function: noun
: a bipedal primate mammal (Homo sapiens)

Main Entry: vegetable
Function: noun
1 : a plant
2 : a usually herbaceous plant (as the cabbage, bean, or potato) grown for an edible part that is usually eaten as part of a meal; also : such an edible part

Main Entry: ex·is·ten·tial·ism
Pronunciation: -'ten(t)-sh&-"li-z&m
Function: noun
: a 20th century philosophical movement centering on analysis of individual existence in an unfathomable universe and the plight of the individual who must assume ultimate responsibility for acts of free will without any certain knowledge of what is right or wrong or good or bad.

The food industry in the United States alone is a 17 billion dollar enterprise. So it is no surprise that the advertising streaming at you every day gives you information which has more to do with food-industry profits than with the truth about your health.

It’s not so much that there is some sort of conspiracy to lead you into illness. Rather it is the selective presentation of information and partial information. As an example, realize that rarely will a man go up to a pretty woman and say, “Hi, I’m Joe, and I’d really like to take you out, though I should tell you that I’m lousy in bed.”

Rather, he’ll ask her out and let her find out on her own, later.

And unfortunately, this very understandable bias of the food industry has led to most of us being … shall we say … let down?

The truth is simple, and using the truth to enhance your health is simple. And the truth has been available through immense scientific studies for many years. It is only because the truth had a very limited advertising budget that we’ve not heard much about it.

What works as a dietary guideline, to maximize your health and minimize death, is covered nicely in a book called The China Study. It boils down to minimizing eating animal products, specifically animal protein, and eating lots of vegetables. Get the book. Read the science. Live long and prosper.

You’ll find the truth. The truth is Vegistentialism. Eat your damn vegetables! Watch your health improve.

But I Don’t Know How to Begin!

05.31.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

[reprinted from my former site How to Tune a Human, May 31, 2013]

It is very reasonable to make a plan before “jumping on your horses and riding off madly in all directions,” for the simple reason that a target is needful if you wish to hit it.

However, it’s easy to become misled about this. You don’t need to know everything. “You don’t have to see the whole staircase; just take the first step.” And likewise, if you’re driving from Los Angeles to New York, just knowing that you’ll drive to the East is actually enough to start making a plan. In fact, you could just gas the car and start driving East.

And, lots of times, you simply cannot know everything.

Sometimes you cannot even research things very well. And if you take no action because the complete details of your plan are unclear, then very possibly no beginning step will *ever* be taken. And you’ll not reach the end of the path unless that first step is taken.

There are excellent ways to make a plan. [This is Step Two (Targeting) of my Five-Step Abundance approach.]

But there’s a step that must come first! And, often, it’s overlooked!    [Read more…]

But I Don’t Know What I Want!

05.26.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

“Be all you can be!” said the advertisement. Join the army and you get to ride in a helicopter, and it’s exciting, oh boy.

(Ladies, it will seem silly to you, but it’s going to make sense to most any guy.)

But what?

What can I be?

And what can I have? And what can I do?

And … what do I want? [Read more…]

The Bloggard gets a Haircut

03.22.2013 by bloggard // Leave a Comment

March 2013, Weed, California — For months, or perhaps it’s been a few years, I’ve been cutting my hair with some clippers. It’s not that I’m too cheap to pay for a haircut, but I don’t like waiting around, and I don’t like sitting in the chair.

(Which is funny, because I sit in other chairs frequently, with no problem at all. Go figure.)

So last week, out of the blue, I thought, “Why not get a haircut?” I just thought that. For no reason.

And you know what?
