I guess that Ambrose Bierce's comment about war teaching Americans geography is not actually true after all. Such a pity I have to leave a negative comment seeing as how I liked your retelling of the story of the monk asking the master about "fate" and your homage to Ryoukan's "moon in the window" haiku.
