You tell this story so beautifully but it is so sad. I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a beloved pet is heart-rending.
I have my first dog since childhood and I can't imagine her life ending. We've been together almost 24/7 for the last 2-1/2 years (roughly her entire life).

Howdy, Buckaroos!
Wow - So exciting to have found others who remember Lonesome Cowboy Tim! I did a quick search today because of the sad news of Donna Summer's passing. Her favorite song was "Last Dance", which never fails to resonate in my head the way Lonesome Cowboy Tim said it in his special way on one of his messages: "Last dance... last chance for lo-ove." I think that episode had something to do with a chipmunk. And maybe the Supremes? Going to the Trocadero?
He was THE BEST! I'd love to hear some recordings from anyone who has them.

Hi Carol and Janet,

Nice to hear from you. If I can, I will. Also hoping to move to another town about that same time. Plus, I'm engaged. So ... dunno!

:)

What a great story. It seems to me the older we get the more I like to hear them. I am with Carol, try to come to Henrietta in September for the class reunion and there will be some "stories" I promise. Good to hear from you. Janet

Was my brother involved in any way. He was a pretty smooth. I've been hearing alot of things I never heard before. We have alot of laughs about the good ole days. Water tower, drive inns and other stuff. Good to hear all the stories. You need to come to your 50th claqss reunion in September. Billy, Eddie S. and Carol Daniel will be working on it soon I'm sure. Also Charles Graf.
